Hail Falls in St. Charles and Lewiston MN | May 19, 2013 | Hail Storms

On May 19th, 2013 a hailstorm was spotted in two cities located in Winona County. Both of these cities experienced 1″  hail late in the night.

Lewiston, a small city in the southeast corner of Minnesota, saw hail fall around 10pm on May 19, 2013. Homes, vehicles, and other devices may have received hail damaged from this storm. Lewiston is famous for its scenery and surroundings located near the bluff lands in southeast Minnesota.

The city of St. Charles, famous for its Gladiolus Days, was also affected by the hailstorm. The hail lasted for about 3-5 minutes and may have caused damage to your property.

Hailstorms come frequently during the spring and summer months and can cause minor to major damage to your home and other belongings. This damage can cause serious problems with your home’s structure and the way it functions as a unit.
